Mohsen Hossaini

Mohsen Hossaini is an artist and animator from Afghanistan.

Internationally recognized for his animations, Hossaini was the winner of the Kabul Short Film Festival 2007 for his film “Shelter” (2006).

Other short films include “Perfume” (2009), “Hitler” (2009), “Solitude” (2002), “Dance” (2014), “Red Fish” (2018), “Event” (2018), “Earthquake” (2022), “Border”(2025).

His artwork has also been featured in exhibitions in Afghanistan and Germany in 2013.

Mohsen Hossaini arrived in (Norway) Drøbak City of Refuge in September 2015, where he continues his work.
